    Description

    Test Preparation

    Most of the time, no special preparation is required. Here are a few standard guidelines:

    • Remove Accessories: Take off any watches, bracelets, rings, or other metallic objects on the left hand or wrist.
    •  Inform the Radiographer:
      o If you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy, notify the technician.
    •  Clothing: You may be asked to roll up your sleeve or wear a gown if necessary.
    •  Stay Still: During the scan, you’ll need to keep your wrist still to avoid blurry images.
    •  No Diet Restrictions: You can eat and drink normally before and after the test.
