    Test Preparation

    Generally, no special preparation is needed. Here’s what to expect:

    •  Clothing: Wear loose or comfortable clothing. You’ll be asked to remove your shoe and sock from the left foot.
    •  Remove metal items: Take off any metallic accessories (toe rings, anklets, etc.) around the left foot/ankle.
    •  Pregnancy: If you’re pregnant or may be, notify the technician so proper shielding can be used.
    •  No fasting required: You can eat, drink, and take medication as usual before the test.
