1,200.00

An X-Ray Bilateral Shoulder (AP + Axial) is a diagnostic imaging test used to evaluate both shoulders from different angles:

• AP (Anteroposterior) View: Captures a front-to-back image of the shoulder joint.
• Axial View: Provides a top-down or side view of the shoulder joint to assess bone alignment and joint space.

This test helps detect fractures, dislocations, arthritis, rotator cuff injuries, joint degeneration, or other abnormalities in both shoulders.

     Clothing & Personal Items
    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing (preferably a sleeveless or short-sleeved top).
    • You may be asked to remove any jewelry, metal objects, or clothing with metal components (such as zippers or buttons) from the upper body.

    During the Procedure

    • The technician will take two views:
    • AP View: Your shoulders will be positioned straight, and the X-ray will be taken from front to back.
    • Axial View: Your arm may be placed in different positions to capture a clear side view of the joint.
    • You must remain still to avoid blurry images.
    • The procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
