    Description

    Test Preparation

     Clothing:
    • Wear loose pants or shorts that allow easy access to your leg.
    • You may be asked to wear a gown during the test.
     Skin Care:
    • Bathe or shower before the test to ensure clean skin.
    • Avoid applying lotions, oils, or creams on your leg and foot on the day of the test, as they can interfere with electrode contact.
     Medications:
    • Take your regular medications unless advised otherwise.
    • Inform the technician if you:
    o Are taking blood thinners
    o Have a bleeding disorder
    o Have a pacemaker or other implanted device
     Food & Drink:
    • You do not need to fast. Eat and drink normally before the test.
