    Description

    Test Preparation

     Clothing:
    • Wear a short-sleeved shirt or loose-fitting top that allows access to your arms.
    • You may be asked to change into a gown for easier access.
     Skin Care:
    • Bathe or shower before the test to clean your skin thoroughly.
    • Avoid applying any lotions, creams, or oils on your arms or hands on the day of the test.
     Medications:
    • Take your usual medications unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
    • Inform your doctor or technician if you:
    o Take blood thinners
    o Have a bleeding disorder
    o Have any implanted medical devices, such as a pacemaker or defibrillator
     Food & Drink:
    • No fasting is required. You may eat and drink normally before the test
