An MRI Venogram (MRV) is a specialized imaging test used to visualize veins and blood flow in the body. It helps detect conditions such as:

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) (blood clots in veins)
  •  Venous insufficiency (poor blood flow)
  • Varicose veins
  •  Vein blockages or narrowing
  •  Vascular malformations
  • A contrast agent (gadolinium-based) is often used to enhance vein visibility and provide clearer images.
