    Test Preparation

    To ensure the best results and a comfortable experience, follow these steps:
     Clothing:
    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing (short-sleeved top and shorts preferred).
    • You may be asked to change into a hospital gown for full limb access.
    Skin Care:
    • Take a bath or shower before the test to ensure your skin is clean.
    • Do not apply lotions, creams, or oils on your arms or legs on the day of the test. They can interfere with electrode contact.
    Medications:
    • Take your usual medications unless your doctor says otherwise.
    • Tell your doctor or technician if you are:
    o On blood thinners (e.g., aspirin, warfarin)
    o Have a bleeding disorder
    o Taking nerve or muscle relaxants
    Medical Devices:
    • Inform the technician if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or any implanted device.
    Food & Drink:
    • No fasting is needed. You may eat and drink as normal.
