    Test Preparation

    To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline:

    • Before the Scan:
      Fasting: Not required (since no contrast is used).
      Hydration: Normal fluid intake is allowed.
    • Clothing & Accessories:
      • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
      • Remove metal objects (belts, zippers, jewelry) near the pelvic area.
    • Medical History:
      • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy (if applicable).
      • Mention any previous scrotal surgeries, infections, or trauma.
    • During the Scan:
      You will be asked to lie on your back on the CT table.
      The scanner will take detailed cross-sectional images of the scrotum and surrounding areas.
      The procedure is quick (about 5–10 minutes) and painless.No contrast dye is used for this scan.
    • After the Scan:
      No recovery time needed – You can resume normal activities immediately.
      The results are usually available within a few hours or days.
