A CT scan with additional contrast application for the whole abdomen is a specialized imaging test that provides detailed visualization of the entire abdominal cavity, including:

Upper Abdomen – Liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, stomach, and kidneys
Lower Abdomen – Intestines, bladder, reproductive organs, and surrounding structures

The contrast dye helps enhance visibility, allowing for accurate detection of:

• Liver diseases, tumours, or infections
• Gallstones, pancreatitis, or spleen abnormalities
• Kidney stones, cysts, or urinary tract disorders
• Gastrointestinal conditions like Crohn’s disease, ulcers, or blockages
• Abdominal infections, inflammation, or bleeding
• Cancerous or non-cancerous growths
