    Why It’s Done:

    Preparation:

    • For blood tests:
    – No fasting or special preparation required.
    – Continue medications unless otherwise advised by your healthcare provider.
    • For skin tests:
    – Avoid antihistamines for 3 to 7 days prior to testing as they may interfere with results (consult your doctor).
