CT Head (Plain)

2,000.00

A CT Head (Plain) scan is a non-contrast computed tomography (CT) scan used to capture detailed cross-sectional images of the brain, skull, and surrounding structures. It helps diagnose:

• Stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic)
• Head injuries, skull fractures, and internal bleeding
• Brain swelling or hydrocephalus (fluid buildup in the brain)
• Brain tumors, cysts, or infections
• Sinus and orbital (eye-related) issues
• Chronic headaches, dizziness, or seizures

Since this is a plain scan, no contrast dye is used.
