    Test Preparation

    To get the most accurate results, follow these simple preparation tips:
     Clothing:
    • Wear shorts or loose-fitting pants that can be rolled up above the knee.
    • You may be asked to wear a gown for better access to the testing area.
    Skin Care:
    • Take a shower or bath beforehand to ensure clean skin.
    • Avoid applying lotions, creams, or oils on your legs or feet on the day of the test—they can interfere with electrode contact.
     Medications:
    • Continue your usual medications unless advised otherwise.
    • Inform your doctor if you:
    o Are taking blood thinners
    o Have a pacemaker or implanted device
    o Have a bleeding disorder
     Food & Drink:
    • No fasting required. Eat and drink normally.
