Test Preparation
To get the most accurate results, follow these simple preparation tips:
Clothing:
• Wear shorts or loose-fitting pants that can be rolled up above the knee.
• You may be asked to wear a gown for better access to the testing area.
Skin Care:
• Take a shower or bath beforehand to ensure clean skin.
• Avoid applying lotions, creams, or oils on your legs or feet on the day of the test—they can interfere with electrode contact.
Medications:
• Continue your usual medications unless advised otherwise.
• Inform your doctor if you:
o Are taking blood thinners
o Have a pacemaker or implanted device
o Have a bleeding disorder
Food & Drink:
• No fasting required. Eat and drink normally.
