A T-Tube Cholangiogram is a specialized X-ray procedure used to examine the bile ducts after gallbladder surgery. It helps detect:

  •  Bile duct obstructions or strictures
  •  Bile leaks after surgery
  •  Gallstones in the bile ducts (choledocholithiasis)
  •  Post-surgical healing and bile drainage issues

A T-tube (a small catheter) is placed in the bile duct during surgery to allow bile drainage and is later used to inject a contrast dye for imaging.
