An X-ray Right Wrist (LAT) is a diagnostic imaging test that captures a lateral (side) view of your right wrist. This view helps doctors examine the wrist bones from the side, offering a different perspective than the standard front-to-back (AP) view.

Description

Test Preparation

Before the Test:
• No fasting or special preparation is needed.
• Inform the radiographer if you are pregnant or might be.
• Remove metal objects from the wrist and hand area, such as:
o Rings
o Watches
o Bracelets

 Clothing:
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
• You may be asked to roll up your sleeve or change into a gown if needed.
