    Test Preparation

    Before the Test:
    • No fasting or special preparation is required.
    • Inform the radiographer if you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
    • Remove any metallic items (such as jewelry, belts, or clothing with metal zippers or buttons) that might interfere with the image.

    Clothing:
    • You may be asked to wear a hospital gown, especially if your clothing covers the thigh area.
    • Wear something loose and comfortable for easy removal if needed.
