300.00

An X-Ray Right Heel (Axial View) is a specialized imaging test that focuses on the calcaneus (heel bone) of the right foot, taken from an axial angle—meaning the X-ray beam is directed from the back of the heel toward the toes. This provides a clear, detailed image of the underside and internal structure of the heel bone.

Purpose of X-Ray Right Heel (Axial View):

This view is especially helpful for:

• Detecting calcaneal (heel bone) fractures
• Evaluating heel pain or trauma
• Identifying bone spurs or plantar fasciitis
• Diagnosing structural deformities
• Monitoring post-injury healing progress

    Test Preparation

    Preparation is minimal and simple.

    General Preparation:
    • No fasting or special medication adjustments are needed.
    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your foot.

On the Day of the Test:
    • You may be asked to lie down, sit, or kneel on a special platform.

    • You’ll need to remain very still during the image capture to avoid blurring.
    • The procedure is quick and painless, typically done in a few minutes.
