X-RAY Right Forearm (AP+LAT)

600.00

An X-Ray Right Forearm (AP + LAT) is a diagnostic imaging test used to visualize the bones of the right forearm — specifically the radius and ulna — in two standard views:

1. AP (Anteroposterior) View – the X-ray beam passes from front to back of the forearm.
2. LAT (Lateral) View – the beam passes from one side of the forearm to the other.

These views help doctors assess for fractures, dislocations, infections, bone deformities, or other abnormalities in the forearm.

    Test Preparation

Typically, no special preparation is required for a forearm X-ray. However, here are some general guidelines:

    •  Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may be asked to change into a gown.
    •  Remove metal items such as jewelry, watches, or belts that may interfere with the image.
    •  Inform the technician if you are pregnant, as X-rays involve radiation, and special precautions may be needed.
    • Stay still during the scan to avoid blurry images.
