X-RAY Right Ankle Oblique

300.00

X-ray Right Ankle (Oblique) is an imaging test that captures the ankle joint from an angled (oblique) view, typically at about 45 degrees. This view allows radiologists and doctors to see structures that may not be visible in standard AP (anteroposterior) or lateral (side) views, such as the space between certain bones and the positioning of the joint surfaces.

    Description

    Test Preparation

    Before the Test:
    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the ankle.
    • Remove all metal items near the ankle such as anklets, toe rings, or footwear.
    • Inform the radiologist/technician if you are pregnant or think you may be, so necessary precautions can be taken.

    Special Considerations:
    • If you have limited mobility or pain, let the technician know so they can assist with positioning.
    • Bring any previous imaging reports or scans if available, for comparison.
