    Test Preparation

    Usually, no special preparation is required. Just follow these steps:

    • Clothing: Wear a loose-fitting top or be prepared to change into a gown to expose the shoulder area.
    • Remove Metal Items: Take off necklaces, earrings, or any clothing with metal parts near the shoulder.
    •  Inform the Radiographer:
      o If you are pregnant or think you might be
      o If you’ve had any recent shoulder surgery or injury
