300.00

An X-Ray Left Hip Joint (Lateral View) is a diagnostic test that captures a side (lateral) image of the left hip joint, including the femoral head, neck of the femur, and acetabulum (hip socket). This view offers a clear, detailed look at the joint alignment, bone structure, and surrounding soft tissues, especially useful when used alongside the AP (frontal) view.

    Test Preparation

Minimal preparation is needed, but keep the following in mind:

Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothes. You may be asked to wear a hospital gown to prevent interference from zippers, buttons, or other materials.
    •  Remove metal items: Take off any belts, jewelry, or metallic items near the waist or hip area.
    •  Pregnancy: If you are pregnant or might be, let the technician know beforehand. A lead shield may be used to protect your abdomen.
