    Test Preparation

    To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline:

     Fasting Requirement
    • No fasting is required for an X-ray of the feet.
    Clothing & Accessories
    • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
    • Remove shoes, socks, and any metal objects (e.g., anklets, toe rings, piercings, or jewelry) from your feet.
     Medical Conditions & Pregnancy
    • Inform your doctor or technician if you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy, as X-rays involve radiation exposure.
    • If needed, a lead apron may be provided for radiation protection.
     Motion & Positioning Instructions
    • You may be asked to stand or sit while placing your feet in a specific position on the X-ray plate.
    • Stay still during the procedure to avoid blurry images.
