An X-Ray of the Abdomen (AP & Lateral Views) is a diagnostic imaging test that captures two different perspectives of the abdominal area:

  • AP (Anteroposterior) View – Provides a front-facing image of the abdomen.
  • Lateral View – Captures a side view of the abdomen to assess depth and organ positioning.

This test helps diagnose:

  •  Abdominal pain and bloating
  •  Bowel obstruction or perforation
  •  Kidney stones or gallstones
  •  Fluid or gas buildup in the abdomen
  •  Intestinal blockages, tumors, or infections
  •  Foreign objects in the digestive trac
