The Urine Glucose Test measures the amount of glucose (sugar) in the urine. Under normal circumstances, glucose is not present in the urine because it is reabsorbed by the kidneys. However, high blood glucose levels or impaired kidney function can lead to glucose spilling into the urine, a condition known as glycosuria.
