    • Avoid makeup, lotions, or hair products, as they may contain metallic particles.

    Fasting & Medication:

    • No fasting required unless contrast dye is needed (your doctor will inform you).
    •  Continue taking prescribed medications unless instructed otherwise.
    •  If contrast is required, inform the doctor if you have kidney disease or contrast allergies.

    Special Considerations:

    • Inform the technician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
