    • Inform the technician if you have metal implants (pacemakers, spinal rods, screws, plates, or cochlear implants).
    • Avoid makeup, lotions, or hair products, as some contain metallic particles.

    Fasting & Medication:

    • No fasting required unless contrast dye is needed (your doctor will inform you).
    • Continue taking regular medications unless instructed otherwise.
    • If contrast is used, inform the doctor about kidney disease or allergies to contrast dye.

    Special Considerations:

    • Inform the technician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
    • If you have claustrophobia, discuss sedation options with your doctor.
