    o Serum Iron
    o Total Iron-Binding Capacity (TIBC)

    Preparation Required:
    • Fasting for 8–12 hours is often recommended for the most accurate results
    • Avoid taking iron supplements for at least 24 hours before the test unless advised otherwise by your doctor
