    Test Preparation

    To ensure accurate results and comfort during the procedure, here’s what to do:

     Clothing:
    • Wear loose-fitting or shorts to allow easy access to the legs.
    • You may be asked to change into a hospital gown.
     Hygiene:
    • Shower before the test to remove any body oils or lotions.
    • Do not apply lotion, cream, or oil on your skin on the day of the test, as it can interfere with electrode contact.
     Medications:
    • Continue taking your regular medications, unless instructed otherwise by your doctor.
    • Inform the doctor if you’re on blood thinners (like warfarin or aspirin) or have a bleeding disorder.
    Food & Drink:
    • No fasting needed. Eat as you normally would unless otherwise advised.
     Health Information:
    • Tell your doctor if you have:
    o A pacemaker or implanted devices
    o Any infections, skin conditions, or open wounds on the legs
