• Have symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI), such as frequent urination, burning sensation, cloudy or foul-smelling urine, or lower abdominal pain
• Are experiencing unexplained back pain or discomfort in the pelvic region
• Need to monitor recurring urinary tract infections or kidney health
• Are preparing for surgery or invasive procedures that involve the urinary system
Preparation
• A clean-catch urine sample is recommended to avoid contamination.
• Avoid using any topical creams or ointments around the urinary area before the test, as they can affect the results.
