    Test Preparation

    To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline:

    Fasting:
    4–6 hours of fasting before the test.
    Only clear liquids (water, black coffee, or tea without milk/sugar) may be allowed.
    Hydration:
    Drink plenty of water before and after the scan to help clear the contrast dye.
    Contrast Dye Precautions:
    This test involves an intravenous (IV) contrast injection.
    Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, iodine allergies, or take Metformin (for diabetes).
    Blood tests (like creatinine levels) may be required to check kidney function.
    Pregnancy Alert:
    If you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy, inform the doctor before the scan.
    Clothing & Metal Objects:
    Wear loose, comfortable clothing without metal zippers or buttons.
    Remove jewelry, eyeglasses, dentures, or metallic accessories.
    Motion Control:
    Stay still and follow breathing instructions for clear images.
