A CT Head + PNS (Paranasal Sinuses) scan is a computed tomography (CT) scan used to evaluate the brain, skull, and sinuses. This scan helps diagnose conditions such as:

• Sinus infections (sinusitis) and nasal blockages
• Head trauma, skull fractures, or brain hemorrhage
• Nasal polyps, cysts, or tumors
• Structural abnormalities in the sinuses and nasal passages
• Headaches, dizziness, or facial pain of unknown cause

The scan may be done with or without contrast depending on the doctor’s recommendation.
