CT Angiography Upper Limb (Plain)

9,000.00

A CT Angiography (CTA) of the Upper Limb (Plain) is a non-contrast CT scan that captures detailed images of the blood vessels (arteries and veins) in the arms without using contrast dye.
This scan is useful for evaluating:

  • Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) – narrowing or blockages in the arm arteries
  • Aneurysms – abnormal bulging of blood vessels
  • Blood clots (Thrombosis or Embolism) – blockages in arteries or veins
  • Vascular injuries – due to trauma or surgery
  • Congenital vascular abnormalities – birth-related blood vessel disorders

Since this is a plain (non-contrast) scan, the ability to detect smaller blood vessel issues may be limited compared to a contrast-enhanced CTA, but it is useful when contrast dye is contraindicated (e.g., kidney disease, allergies, or other health concerns).
