    Test Preparation

    To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline:

    • Avoid food for 4-6 hours before the scan.
    • Clear liquids (water, black tea/coffee without milk) may be allowed unless otherwise instructed.
    Hydration:
    • Drink plenty of water unless restricted by your doctor.
    Contrast Considerations:
    • Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, diabetes, or iodine-based contrast allergies.
    • If you have a history of contrast allergies, pre-medication (antihistamines or steroids) may be required.
    Diabetes & Medication:
    • If you take Metformin, you may need to stop it 24-48 hours before and after the scan (as per medical advice).
    • Other medications should be taken as usual unless otherwise instructed.
    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
    • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as contrast dye may pose risks.
    Clothing & Accessories:
