    • Clear fluids (water, tea, black coffee) may be allowed unless instructed otherwise.
    Hydration:
    • Drink plenty of water unless advised otherwise by your doctor.
    Contrast Considerations:
    • Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, diabetes, or allergies to iodine-based contrast.
    • If you have a history of contrast allergies, you may need pre-medication with antihistamines or steroids.
    Diabetes & Medication:
    • If you take Metformin, you may need to stop it 24-48 hours before and after the scan (as per medical advice).
