3,000.00

The Bone Marrow Trephine & Aspiration is a diagnostic procedure where a small amount of bone marrow tissue (trephine biopsy) and liquid marrow (aspiration) are collected, usually from the back of the pelvic bone (iliac crest).
• Aspiration involves using a needle to draw out liquid marrow.
• Trephine biopsy involves taking a small core (cylindrical piece) of solid marrow tissue.
These samples are then examined under a microscope to evaluate blood cell production, marrow architecture, and detect abnormalities.
