Bleeding Time / Bt (Modified Ivys Method)

300.00

The Bleeding Time test measures how long it takes for small blood vessels to stop bleeding after a standardized skin puncture. The Modified Ivy’s method involves making a small, controlled incision (usually on the forearm) and timing how long bleeding continues.
This test evaluates the function of platelets and the ability of blood vessels to constrict and form a clot, which are crucial for normal blood clotting.
