The Allergen – Aspergillus Test is a blood or skin test that detects allergic sensitization to Aspergillus species, a group of common mold fungi found in the environment. This test measures specific Immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies or skin reactivity to Aspergillus allergens, which can cause allergic reactions, especially in people with asthma or allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA).
