Test Preparation

To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline:

• Fasting: Not required for a plain (non-contrast) scan.
• Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing; you may need to change into a hospital gown.
• Remove Metal Objects: Remove jewelry, dentures, or any metallic accessories near the jaw that may interfere with imaging.
• Medical History: Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or have metal implants in the jaw.
• Medications: Take regular medications as usual unless advised otherwise.
