Description

Test Preparation

To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline:

  • Fasting:
    • No fasting required since this is a plain (non-contrast) scan.
    Metal Object Removal:
    • Remove earrings, piercings, glasses, dentures, or metallic objects around the face to avoid image distortion.
  • Clothing:
    • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing without metal buttons or zippers.
  • Breathing & Positioning Instructions:
    • You may need to hold your breath for a few seconds while images are taken.
    • You will lie still on the scanning table while the machine captures images in axial (horizontal) and coronal (vertical) planes.
  • Post-Procedure Care:
    • No specific precautions are needed after the scan. You can resume normal activities immediately..
