    Test Preparation

To ensure accurate results, follow these preparation guideline

    • Fasting:
If contrast dye is used, fasting for 4–6 hours before the scan is recommended.
If no contrast is required, fasting may not be necessary.
    • Metal Objects:
Remove jewellery, piercings, or metallic accessories that might interfere with the scan.
    • Clothing:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing without metal parts (zippers, buttons).
    • Medical History:
      Inform the doctor about:
      Allergies (especially to contrast dye)
Kidney disease (as contrast dye can affect kidney function)
      Pregnancy or breastfeeding
    • Breathing Instructions:
Since this scan captures dynamic movement, you may be asked to follow breathing instructions, such as holding your breath at specific intervals.
    • Hydration (Post-Contrast Scan):
After the scan, drink plenty of water to help flush out the contrast dye from your body.
