Arsenic – Blood

3,000.00

The Arsenic Blood Test measures the amount of arsenic present in the bloodstream at the time of the test. This test is used to detect recent or acute arsenic exposure, as arsenic circulates in the blood shortly after absorption but is rapidly cleared from the bloodstream, usually within hours to days.
This test helps identify whether a person has been exposed to arsenic recently, particularly in cases of suspected poisoning or environmental exposure.

    • Guide treatment decisions in cases of acute arsenic toxicity

    Preparation:

    • No special preparation is generally required.
    • Inform your healthcare provider about any medications, supplements, or foods you have recently consumed, especially seafood, which can affect arsenic levels.
