    Test Preparation

To ensure a smooth and accurate test, follow these guidelines:
     Clothing:
    • Wear a short-sleeved shirt or loose-fitting top that allows easy access to your arm.
    • You might be asked to wear a gown for the test.
    Skin Care:
    • Bathe or shower before your test for clean skin.
    • Do not apply any creams, lotions, or oils on your arm or hand on the day of the test—this can interfere with the electrodes.
     Medications:
    • Continue your usual medications unless your doctor advises otherwise.
    • Let your doctor or technician know if you:
    o Are on blood thinners
    o Have a bleeding disorder
o Have any implanted devices (e.g., pacemaker).

    Food & Drink:
    • No fasting is needed. Eat and drink as usual.
