    Description

    Test Preparation

     No Fasting Required:
    o You can eat and drink normally. No special diet is needed.
    Clothing:
    o Wear comfortable clothing. You may be asked to wear a hospital gown.
    o Remove all metal objects from the head and neck area (e.g., jewelry, glasses, hairpins, dentures, hearing aids, etc.).
     Inform the Radiologist If:
    o You are pregnant or suspect pregnancy, due to radiation risks.
    o You have any implants or a history of head surgeries.
     During the Procedure:
    o You’ll be asked to sit, stand, or lie on your side, depending on the equipment.
    o Remain still while the X-ray is taken to avoid image blurring.
    o A lead apron may be used to shield other body parts.
