An X-ray of the right shoulder (LAT view)—also known as the lateral view or Scapular Y view—is a diagnostic image taken from the side of the shoulder. This view provides a detailed image of the:

• Humerus (upper arm bone)
• Scapula (shoulder blade)
• Glenoid cavity (socket of the shoulder joint)
• Acromion and coracoid process

The “Y” shape is formed by the scapula on the image, which helps assess shoulder alignment and positioning.
