Test Preparation
Before the Test:
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing or a hospital gown may be provided.
• Remove any jewelry or metal objects around the ankle area, as they can interfere with the imaging.
• Inform the technician if you are pregnant, as radiation exposure should be minimized during pregnancy.
Special Instructions:
• If your doctor has given specific instructions (e.g., related to mobility, prior imaging), follow those.
• If the X-ray is part of a pre-surgical evaluation, you may need additional tests
