An X-Ray Pelvis (AP) is a diagnostic imaging test that captures an anteroposterior (AP) view — from front to back — of the pelvis. This includes the hip bones, sacrum, coccyx, and the upper femur (thigh bones). It helps in evaluating the bony structure and detecting:

• Fractures or dislocations
• Arthritis or joint degeneration
• Bone infections
• Tumors or lesions
• Hip alignment and joint space narrowing
• Congenital abnormalities (especially in pediatric cases)
