    Test Preparation

    Usually, no special preparation is required, but you should:

    •  Clothing: Wear clothes with loose sleeves or short sleeves. You may be asked to remove your hand jewelry and roll up your sleeve.
    •  Remove Metal Objects: Take off all watches, bracelets, rings, or metal near the wrist area.
    •  Inform the Technician:
      o If you are pregnant or think you might be
      o If you’ve had recent surgeries or implants in your wrist.
