X-RAY Left Thigh Oblique

300.00

An X-Ray Left Thigh (Oblique View) is a specialized imaging angle that captures the left femur (thigh bone) at a diagonal or angled position, rather than the standard front (AP) or side (LAT) views. This helps reveal hidden fractures, subtle abnormalities, or complex anatomical structures that may not be clearly visible in other views.

    Test Preparation

No special preparation is usually needed, but here’s what to do:

    •  Clothing: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. You may need to change into a hospital gown for better access to the thigh area.
    •  Remove Metal Items: Remove all metallic objects like jewelry, belts, zippers, or anything in your pockets that could interfere with the X-ray.
    •  Inform the Radiographer:
o If you are pregnant or might be
o If you have metal implants, surgical hardware, or mobility issues due to pain or injury
