X-RAY Left Thigh (LAT)

300.00

An X-Ray Left Thigh (LAT View) is a diagnostic imaging test that provides a side view of the left femur (thigh bone). This angle allows doctors to assess the depth, alignment, and condition of the bone and surrounding soft tissues, which might not be fully visible in a front-view (AP) X-ray.

Description

Test Preparation

Generally, no special preparation is required, but consider the following:

  •  Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may be asked to change into a gown to allow clear imaging of the thigh.
  •  Remove Metal Items: Take off any jewelry, belts, zippers, or metal objects near the thigh area.
  •  Inform the Technician:
o If you are pregnant or may be pregnant
o If you have had metal implants, surgery, or recent trauma to the leg
