X-RAY Left Knee Oblique

300.00

An X-Ray Left Knee (Oblique View) is a diagnostic imaging test that captures the left knee joint at an angle, rather than straight from the front (AP) or side (LAT). This view helps your doctor get a more detailed look at the bones, joint spaces, and surrounding structures from a different perspective, which may not be clearly visible in standard views.

It’s especially useful for:

• Detecting small fractures or bone chips
• Evaluating subtle joint or alignment abnormalities
• Checking for degenerative changes

Test Preparation

Most of the time, no special preparation is required, but keep these general tips in mind:

  •  Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes. You may be asked to change into a gown.
  •  Metal Objects: Remove all metal items (jewelry, zippers, belts) near the knee area to prevent interference with the image.
  •  Notify the Radiographer:
o If you are pregnant or may be pregnant
o If you’ve had recent surgery or injury to the knee
