An X-Ray Left Hand (AP + LAT) is a diagnostic imaging test that includes two standard views of the left hand:

• AP (Anteroposterior) View: The hand is placed flat, palm-up, allowing a view of the bones and joints from front to back.
• LAT (Lateral) View: The hand is turned sideways to provide a profile view of the hand’s bones and soft tissues.

These views help in providing a comprehensive assessment of the hand’s structure, including the phalanges (fingers), metacarpals, and carpal (wrist) bones.

    •  Remove metal items: Remove all jewelry, watches, or any metallic objects from your left hand and wrist.
    •  Pregnancy alert: If you’re pregnant or think you might be, notify the technician so protective shielding can be used.
